Cane Creek confirms that the Forty Series uses corrosion-resistant ZN40 zinc-coated sealed cartridge bearings, with ZS44 using a 41 mm bearing and ZS56 using a 52 mm bearing.

ZN40 Sealed Bearings

The Forty Series ZN40 bearings feature zinc-coated machined steel construction with hardened steel balls, helping improve corrosion resistance and bearing longevity. The sealed cartridge design also helps protect the bearings against dirt, dust, and moisture.

Durable Zero Stack Design

The ZS design places most of the headset cup inside the bicycle head tube for a clean appearance and low stack height. Cane Creek uses 6061-T6 aluminum cups together with replaceable cartridge bearings and a durable steel crown race.
